A quick note to say thank you so much for everything yesterday. We had a perfect day and evening, and our guests all had an amazing time and you guys were a big part of that from beginning to end, obviously with the music but also helping set up everything for the chuppah. We were able to say thank you personally to a few band members but didn’t catch everyone before they left so please pass on our thanks to every single one. Brilliant voices, and brilliant musicians.

Sababa, led by Daniel, were the perfect band for our wedding. They captured the vibes of our ceremony, wedding reception and the party beautifully. We were delighted by the versatility of the band, with Daniel playing some classic piano pieces for the ceremony and the wider band playing a wider range of swing, soul, pop and Jazz in the evening. Not only were they brilliant musicians, they were also very professional, polite and most importantly fun! They did a great job of getting 100+ people dancing all night long and the 3 one hour sets in the evening plus the ceremony music and reception music were excellent value. Having enjoyed their performances so much, we will be looking to watch them in London next year to relive the magic of our big day. Thanks Daniel and the rest of the team!

We just had Daniel and his band for our wedding. They were absolutely brilliant providing a jazz trio for the drinks reception and then the full band for the evening. Sababa played at our wedding last May, after we had seen them play at a friends wedding the year before. We HAD to have them at our wedding and we’re so glad we did! We can’t recommend them enough! Daniel put together a band to provide music for my son’s wedding. Beforehand he gave his time to discuss what type of music, special requests etc both at the ceremony and the subsequent party. The band’s versatility meant we had to make no compromise at all. He gave time to visit the venue to make sure that he knew in advance how the set up would work. The music itself was great, definitely added to the enjoyment of the day and was widely commented on by our guests. They were even flexible to give an impromptu playing slot to my trumpet playing son. In short a pleasure to do business with Daniel and a first rate band of musicians that I heartily recommend.

Daniel Benisty was the entertainer at my son’s wedding. We still talk about the amazing energy he generated and people who were there say it was the best part of the evening . Daniel was extremely courteous, punctual and professional. He visited the venue with us and planned the whole event. He went out of his way to assist with renting a stage, lights etc.  His band and singer who were phenomenal, kept playing well after their allotted time. In short, book him !

These guys made my wedding! They were brilliant, fun and totally made the evening in to a proper party. We had 3 guys on brass that surprised us by popping up in different spots around the room and on the dance floor, which added something really special. Daniel was wonderful for our wedding, he was incredibly understanding given the circumstances and offered to be flexible regarding the pandemic which we really appreciated. The actual singing was fantastic, we had an amazing time and have so many beautiful memories of the night. Highly recommend, Daniel was extremely quick to reply to emails, helped us plan the whole night and was a great source of advice, walking us through all aspects of the chuppah and what programs of music we wanted. Daniel and Sababa played at our wedding last August. We spent absolutely ages looking for the right band, and we were losing heart, until we saw this band in action. Simply awesome. The most amazing repertoire, which was great for us because our guests ranged from 4 to 84, and there was something for everyone, even traditional Jewish wedding dances (which we wanted even though our wedding was not religious in any way). Daniel supplied a jazz trio for the daytime (which was excellent), he played keyboard during the actual ceremony (and it was beautiful), then we opted for an 8 piece band for the reception, which was fabulous. So many of our guests commented afterwards about how much they loved our band. Three of our guests are professional musicians themselves, one teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, and one is musical director for the Ritz hotel in London, and they both said the band was fantastic. PLUS ours was a same-sex wedding, and it was important for us to feel comfortable with everyone involved. Daniel is really lovely, and it was a pleasure to have him be such a big part of our perfect day. The band played for my wedding and played Israeli music followed by swing/soul music. A BIG thank you from my husband and I to you and your band members for doing such a great job at our wedding. We loved the music and several people told us that they loved it too and asked us where we found you. Gabby has a beautiful voice and she was definitely the right choice. We are also impressed that you were able to play Auld Lang Syne when you had not done so as a band before. That went down very well. You are a very talented bunch to play so many different types of music. (10 / 10)

Since 2009, Daniel and Matt (the founding bandleaders) have formed ensembles ranging from duo to 12 piece at approximately 500 private events, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, bar/bat-mitzvahs, communions, engagements, funerals, corporate events, xmas events, tribute nights, club nights, summer festivals and seasonal festivities.  Alongside private events, Sababa and its sister band, The London Swing and Soul Band, has played at Westfield, Savoy, Ritz, The Phoenix Arts Club, Caffe Concerto, Bestival, The Jazz Cafe (Camden), The RAC Club, The Hilton and The Gherkin.
